The company was Founded in 1932 by Mr. Ralph Samuel White, from Dublin and later renamed as R.S. White (Water Treatment) Ltd. Today the company operates under the Whitewater brand and is now an established family run business operating in Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Whitewater offer the Design, Installation and Service of water purification systems that meet the latest regulatory requirements within each sector. For many years Whitewater have specialised in the use of membrane technology such as ultra-filtration, nano-filtration and reverse osmosis to purify water for applications within each sector.
Our innovative water system designs acknowledge the importance of reducing carbon footprint and costs, with solutions including low energy, recycling, reusing water and reducing water discharge.
Customer service is the most important part of our business starting with our initial client contact and extending through construction to commissioning, operator training, customer services and system operation and maintenance. According to our customer needs, specific service contracts can be set up with Whitewater.
Servicing of equipment and support is provided by our specialist team of service technicians operating to the ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 quality standard.
24 Hour Service
Service support is vital to all of our clients in each sector. We understand that it is essential that our water purification systems are regularly serviced and maintained. Meet the Management Team
Mark Keating – Executive Director
Mark Keating has over 20 years of experience in the Water Treatment Industry. He has vast experience in servicing design & development of products, sales, installation, service and commissioning new projects. His focus is on providing the best and most up-to-date purified water systems, top quality before and after-sales service and an unwavering determination to satisfy customers’ demands. Aligned with this he has a clear focus of business goals with a dedicated team of experienced designers and engineers who are fully committed.
Tim Quinn – Executive Director
Tim Quinn has 30 years hands on experience gained from within the Water Treatment industry, with specific skills in Product, Performance, Sales and Marketing Management, Business Growth and Development. Enterprising, extroverted and customer-focused sales leader with a natural ability for building new business and forging loyalty with clients, vendors and external business partners. Identifies and capitalises on emerging business ventures to propel an organisation to the top-tier of its industry. Strives to optimise operations, reduce costs and improve service quality while strengthening the bottom-line.Entrepreneurial by nature and able to see the ‘bigger picture’, utilises skills from an extensive background in Water treatment, within General Management, Sales and Marketing/Business Development and Innovation and Change Management.
Liz Nangle – Managing Director
Liz Nangle is responsible for the day-to day running of the business with a particular emphasis on sales and business development. She ensures that the business continues to grow by way of developing new clients whilst maintaining its existing customer base. She has an excellent record of initiating and leading turnaround growth strategies in complex distribution environments. Liz is results driven with a positive outlook and a clear focus on high quality and business profit. She is also responsible for the systems development, improvement and implementation on all aspects of accounts, finance, insurance, fleet and facilities management. Liz deals with all areas of Health and Safety, QA, Human Resources, marketing and ISO maintenance and development. In her tasks include assigning sales territories, setting quotas, mentoring the members of her sales team, assigning sales training and building the sales plan.
Ronan Duffy – Technical Services Manager
Ronan Duffy brings a wealth of management and technical services experience in Water Treatment. His expertise in providing quality engineering support includes root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective actions, providing troubleshooting and superior technical service to our customers. His experience with the largest Australian Desalination and Wastewater Company as Operations Manager brings a complementary skill set to grow the Whitewater service business.
Paul Picard – Project Manager
Paul Picard has over 25 years experience working in the water treatment industry. Paul has extensive knowledge in all aspects of water treatment systems including troubleshooting, service, installation, commissioning and validation. Currently as Project Manager, Paul uses his extensive experience in design and project delivery ensuring a quality and cost effective water treatment system to our clients at all times. Along with his highly dedicated and client focused project team, Paul strives to meet and exceed our client’s high expectations at all times.
Brian Farrell – Sales Manager
Brian has over 20 years of experience working in the Healthcare and Industrial sector. As Sales Manager for Ireland and the United Kingdom, Brian’s focus is to maintain and grow Whitewater’s share of the water purification business in our 4 core sectors of Healthcare, Industry, Municipal and Pharmaceutical.
Brian leads a dedicated and customer focused sales team that have the technical acumen to deliver the optimum solution to meet the all of the customer’s requirements. He is continuously seeking new and innovative products that will increase efficiency and lower the carbon footprint for the customer. As an Executive Committee member of the Biomedical and Clinical Engineers Association of Ireland (BEAI) Brian offers an Industry perspective to the Association and is a key member of the BEAI Executive Committee.
Sandra Bolger – Office Manager
Sandra has over 20 years of experience working in professional executive assistant positions and has a track record of performing well in high volume, high pressure environments. She skilfully manages the smooth operation of Whitewater through efficient management of all administrative office tasks, health and safety checks, staff management, induction, staff training and meeting arrangements – anything which is a feature of the office culture and routine. Sandra also provides sales support to help continue the high level of sales quotation management and follow up.
