Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is viewed within Whitewater as a worthwhile and important pursuit. It allows Whitewater to embrace responsibility for the company’s actions and encourage a positive social impact of its operations. This allows the company to give back to communities around Ireland.
Whitewater sponsorship allows the various specialists in hospitals that they work with to attend their association / trade conferences.
The company sponsors local south Dublin football & basketball teams, St. Francis F.C., Clondalkin & Ongar Chasers BC, Whitewater logo is displayed on team jerseys.
Whitewater has a policy to promote the ‘green’ products in its range, which are energy efficient and offer cost savings. Through innovation, Whitewater is leading the way for environmentally friendly products in the water purification industry.
In Whitewater we are fully aware of the importance of water sustainability. We offer a range of solutions to maximise sustainable water usage and we continue to strive towards delivering water recovery, recycle, and reuse solutions.
The servicing of equipment and support is provided by specialist teams of service technicians operating to the quality standard. ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 Standards, ISO 9001:2015 specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving a quality management systems. ISO 14001:2015 international standard provides requirements for the company to develop an integrated, structured approach in setting and achieving environmental policies and objectives with the goal of supporting the protection of the environment, prevention of pollution and compliance with regulatory requirements. OHSAS 18001:2007 sets out the minimum requirements for a best practice occupational health and safety management system – helping the company to manage and control risks, and continuously improve performance.
These are international business quality standard and Quality Management System. Whitewater are audited annually by the EQA* in relation to this regulation.

Corporate Social Responsibility Awards
The Irish Medical and Surgical Trade Association – IMSTA– Community & Social Awareness Award – for the best fundraising, awarded to Mark Keating. For his Cycle for Kids 6000. Solo Charity Cycle 6,000km from Dublin to Belgrade and back to Dublin to raise €60,000. He presented The Mother & Child Hospital in Belgrade with a cheque for €8,000 to buy a new Skin Graft Mesher, as the one they had 20 years old. €26,000 raised to buy for Temple Street Children’s University Hospital a NoxBoxi Nitric Oxide Delivery System which is used for very sick children who are not responding to conventional ventilation and a further €26,000 will purchase equipment for Our Lady’s Hospital for Sick Children a Bedside Brain Monitor which will be used to help assess the condition of very sick new born babies in the ICU; Whitewater are matching the funds raised. All funds raised are going directly to the hospitals.
The Biomedical/Clinical Engineering Association of Ireland (BEAI) awarded Mark Keating the BEAI Humanitarian Award for his latest charity challenge which is an historical walk to raise €20,000 to buy much needed equipment for patients in St. John’s ward in Our Lady’s Children Hospital Crumlin, and also for the children’s cancer department in the Tirsova University Children’s hospital in Belgrade.
