This is just a quick message of thanks from the Cubs and Cub leaders in the 168th (Dublin) St. Aengus Scout group who were given one of your vans to travel to Wales on our Summer Camp this July.
We decided to go to Acorn Adventure Centre in the middle on the Brecon Beacon National Forest in Wales. We went on a 5 day fun packed trip which had us taking part in a number of great activities. The kids and adults alike undertook the following: Rifle shooting; Kayaking; Kana-Canoeing; Rock Climbing; Absailing; Zip Wire; High Ropes and low ropes.
The van we got a loan of enabled us to carry all the personal gear and food stuff we required for the week away. Without the Van we would have had to have all our party carry the food and bags on board the boat to and from Wales – This would not have been nice! The van also helped us carry one of the cubs to and from some of the further away activities as he had recently broke his ankle and found it difficult to walk.
Thanks Again for the generous donation of your van which made our trip so much easier and made our trip so much more enjoyable for all involved.
