Whitewater has been successful in winning a major dialysis contract worth over €650,000 , to supply three new water purification systems for the new Oncology, Cardiac and Renal Building at Cork University Hospital.

The systems will be installed later this year.

Speaking about the new contract, Sales Director Tim Quinn said, “the quality of water in this medical application is vital, where purified water makes up more than 99% of the dialysis fluids. The dialysis patient’s health is directly related to water quality their blood being cleaned with up to 25,000 litres of dialysate per year.

“We are very pleased to win this contract, It is a testament to the quality of our haemodialysis systems,” he added.

Whitewater have now supplied dialysis units to most of Ireland’s hospital dialysis units.
